Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to visit the farm?

Group tours are $40 per adult, $30 per child or senior

Private tours are a minimum of $200 Monday-Friday, $250 on Saturday or holidays

Bookings less than 48 hours in advance are subject to additional fees.

Why are you named American Made Miniatures?

Simple story, really.

Some of the first animals taken in by the Richardson family were miniature horses.

When it came time to name the rescue sanctuary, no one could have foreseen how it would grow to encompass so many different species of farm animals (and even exotics)!

Do you have animals up for adoption?

We often have a few animals available for adoption at the sanctuary, however we try and do direct home-to-home adoption whenever possible.

Animals on-site that available for adoption will be updated frequently on our website.

Do you have any merchandise?

12×12″ AMMFS calendars are available for donations of $20 or more.

Our book “We Kept the Pony” is also available with a donation to the sanctuary.

We are working on expanding our donation-based merchandise in the near future, so keep an eye out!

Can I volunteer at the sanctuary?

Volunteers are an essential part of the farm sanctuary, and help keep the farm running while we work to address the ever-expanding needs of our residents and community.

We are actively working to build our volunteer program during 2026. A volunteer application will be available shortly.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Yes!

AMMFS is a registered 501c3, and therefore donations made to the sanctuary are tax-deductible.

You will receive an invoice with your donation via email.
